DUSTPONY is a band. This site exists so people can listen to the records, read what the band is up to, and get in touch. Using it means agreeing to what is on this page, which is short because there is not much to agree to.

The site

Everything here — the recordings, the photographs, the words, the artwork — belongs to DUSTPONY or to the people credited alongside it. Listen to it, link to it, and share it. Do not sell it, pass it off as your own, or use it to train or generate anything. The streaming links point at other companies' services; what happens once you follow one is between you and them.

There is no account to create and nothing to buy. The site is offered as it is, without warranty, and it may change or go away.

The studio

Behind this site is a private tool the band uses to write, translate and schedule its own posts, and to publish them to its own accounts on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. It is reached at a password-protected address and is used by the band and by the translator who checks the wording. It is not a product, there is no sign-up, and it is not available to anyone else.

What it does is narrow and worth stating plainly: it uploads video and photographs the band made, with captions the band wrote, to accounts the band owns, at times the band chose. It reads back the public statistics for those posts so the band can see how each language is doing. It does not touch anyone else's account, post on anyone else's behalf, or handle anyone's data but the band's own.

Anyone using it is expected to publish only work they have the right to publish, to follow the rules of the platform it is going to, and to keep their access to themselves. Access can be withdrawn at any time.

The platforms

Posting through Instagram, TikTok and YouTube is subject to each of those companies' own terms, and those terms govern the content once it arrives. The connections between this tool and those accounts are authorised by the accounts themselves and can be revoked at any time from each platform's own settings, without asking anyone here.
